Testing Information
How to read these reports
Each certificate lists a batch or lot number, the testing laboratory, and the analytical results — typically HPLC purity and, where applicable, mass-spectrometry identity confirmation. Because a COA is specific to the batch it references, always confirm the lot number on the certificate matches the product on hand.
HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography) separates a sample into its components and measures how much of each is present, reported as a purity percentage. Mass spectrometry measures the molecular weight of the main component to confirm it matches the expected compound — an identity check that purity alone does not provide.
If a product is not listed above, public batch documentation for that specific batch is not currently available — this does not mean the product is untested. Contact us directly with questions about a specific compound or batch.
For a full walkthrough of what HPLC purity and mass-spectrometry identity data mean, and the red flags to watch for in a supplier's documentation, see our guide on how to read a peptide Certificate of Analysis. For the broader question of evaluating a testing lab or supplier — not just a single certificate — see how to evaluate third-party testing.
