About This Calculator
The Alpha Tides PNW Peptide Reconstitution Calculator is a planning tool for researchers preparing lyophilized research compounds for in vitro use. It calculates resulting concentration, draw volume, and equivalent syringe units based on the vial amount, reconstitution volume, and target dose entered.
Research Use Only. All compounds referenced in this calculator are sold for laboratory and in vitro research use only. This tool does not provide medical advice, clinical dosing guidance, or treatment recommendations. Values produced are for research planning purposes and should be verified against your laboratory protocol.
How to Use the Fields
- Compound — Select the research compound from the dropdown, or choose Custom / other and enter the vial amount manually.
- Vial amount (mg) — The total milligrams of lyophilized compound in the vial.
- BAC water (mL) — The volume of bacteriostatic water you plan to add during reconstitution. A higher volume produces a lower concentration per mL.
- Target dose (mcg) — The microgram amount per draw in your research protocol.
The calculator outputs: Concentration (mg/mL) — the resulting potency after reconstitution; Draw volume (mL) — the volume to withdraw for your target dose; and Syringe units (U-100) — the equivalent reading on a U-100 insulin syringe.
Storage Reminder
Lyophilized (freeze-dried) research compounds should be stored in a cool, dry environment away from light and moisture until reconstitution. After adding bacteriostatic water, reconstituted compounds are typically stored refrigerated and used within a defined research timeframe per your laboratory protocol.
